Inspiration Monday is a collection of posts IMGers have found interesting. It may be cool artwork, an interesting article, a tool to help with work or just a funny video to get your mind off of it for a while.
Good Morning, yeah I know it’s Tuesday
I hope you enjoyed the fireworks yesterday, here are some images of fireworks that put a different twist on the idea.
Damion Berger takes photos in black and white and negative, giving them an unfamiliar modern tone.
And JC told us about these photos pulling fireworks into focus as they explode.
Tools for Artists
Magnus is like Shazam, but for art work. You can snap a picture and get the artist, title and price.
You can also pull up a map and find galleries and museums near you. You can even see many works up close, zoomed way in. And it’s free!
Watch the video, it’s pretty funny.
Cheryl showed me this cool project. Levi Bettwieser bid on a box of film at an auction. What he found were tons of boxes, meticulously labeled and packaged, but undeveloped. He then set about finding all the other lots from the auction that other people bought. Some 1200 rooms of film need to be developed, you can help with the indie go-go campaign.
Bjork. If you ever needed an example of being inspired and trying new things look at her work.
She is venturing into Virtual Reality to challenge herself artistically. With VR she can make something more than a music video and more than a concert.
Find your inner Bjork this week!
